A passionate explorer of everything life has to offer, Alan left a lasting impression on all who met him or saw the fruits of his labor. His legacy of dedication and serving others in the pursuit of understanding every facet of the human existence will never be forgotten by all who loved him.

He is survived by his wife Adele, four children (Frank, Steve, Suzanne and Sara), and seven beloved grandchildren.
